Installation and Configuration Procedure for Internet Access with WLL Fixed Line Telephone : FWT230 / FWT230(F)

Installing and setting up Modem

1. Connect WLL-FWT to COM Port of PC with RS232 cable which is one to one Male/Female connector.Since LG WLL-FWT instrument has in-built data modem, no other modem should be connected to PC.
2. Go to "My Computer” "Control Panel”
3. The “Control Panel” screen appears. Double click on "Modem” icon. Click on “Add”
4. “Install New Modem” screen appears. Select “Don’t detect my modem; I will select it from a list”.
   
   
   
   Click “next” . Now Modem Setting window will appear.
5. Here select the options as shown in fig.
   
   
   
   Now click on “Next” button .In the next window, Select the COM Port on which the WLL FWT is connected. e.g. if the WLL FWT is connected on COM1 Port then the screen should appear as shown below.
   
   
   
   
6. Click “Next” and wait till message "Your modem has been set up successfully".
