Tripartite MoU between MTNL, BSNL and NPCIL
MTNL and BSNL have signed a Tripartite MoU with Nuclear Power Corporation Limited on 05.11.2007 for a period of 5 years whereby MTNL & BSNL will be the Most Preferred Telecom Service Providers for NPCIL and MTNL & BSNL will give NPCIL the Most Preferred Client status.
Tripartite MoU between MTNL, BSNL and Indian Express
MTNL and BSNL have signed a Tripartite MoU with Indian Express on 03.10.2007 whereby MTNL & BSNL will be the Most Preferred Telecom Service Providers for Indian Express and MTNL & BSNL will give Indian Express the Most Preferred Client status.

MTNL Signs MOU with M/s. Teleman
MTNL has entered into yet another MoU with M/s Teleman, Institute of mobile technology (Repair & Maintenance) for conducting joint training programs on mobile technology under the brand name MTNL Teleman Open Program.
The training program will cover the study of high end mobile phones, PDAs, Smart Phones, GPS phones, Personal Media Players and other telecom equipments like Pay phones, GSM Modems, etc.
The MoU with M/s.Teleman is another step taken by MTNL's Center for Excellence in Telecom Technology & Management towards making available the telecom training at an affordable price to the job aspirant students.
Toll Free Services Access Code 1600 changed to 1800
As per the guidelines of National Numbering Plan, MTNL has changed the Access code of Toll Free Services, 1600 to 1800 w.e.f. 14.01.2006. Accordingly all Toll free numbers will change from 1600xxxxxx to 1800xxxxxx. MTNL/BSNL customers can access the toll free numbers using both access codes ie. 1600 and 1800 upto 14.04.2006.

MTNL's CETTM signs MoU with M/s. Red Hat India Pvt Ltd.
On 14th FEB 2005, CETTM, the state-of-the art training centre of MTNL at Hiranandani, Powai signed an MOU with M/s Red Hat India Pvt Ltd.
M/s. Red Hat is the leading provider of the enterprise class Linux/Open Source technologies. M/s Red Hat conducts training & certification programs for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating system .The certification program for RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) is ranked as one of the highest quality training and certification in IT.
CETTM through the present MoU is recognized as Red Hat Authorized training partner. CETTM is authorized to conduct courses on Red hat Enterprise Linux Technologies which are in great demand. The CETTM will be the authorized center for certification examinations. The training courses will be conducted by trained & certified CETTM faculty.
CETTM has established a most modern state-of-the-art computer lab for conducting courses on Linux Technologies for catering to the needs of Corporates, PSUs Private sector enterprises, State Govt. departments.
CETTM LINUX Lab Details
The lab is equipped with 25 latest high performance PCs with the following configuration
- Intel Pentium 4 processor 2.8 GHz with HT technology.
- High speed 256 MB DDRAM,
- 40 GB HDD,
- DVD ROM drive
- The PCs are based on the Red Hat 9.0 Operating system.
- A complete Audio/Visual system consisting of LCD projector & public address system is installed in the lab for a great learning experience.

On 18th Jan 2005, CETTM, the state-of-the art training centre of MTNL at Hiranandani, Powai signed an MOU with TCIL (Telecommunications Consultants India Limited). The MOU aims to leverage the core strength of both the organizations. TCIL, which has experience in executing Telecom and IT projects across the world, in more than 33 countries, has expanded its portfolio of offerings to meet the growing demand for new technology and management training in the field of telecom, for its vast client base both in India as well as abroad. CETTM, through the present MOU, will customize and conduct Technical, Management & Corporate Training to the TCIL sponsored clientele. CETTM, familiar among the Business and Corporate world as Centre for Excellence in Telecom Technology and Management has been expanding its Telecom Training Business and aiming to position itself as a premier telecom training institute in the Asia Pacific Region. MTNL awarded the Licence by AAI to start Wi-Fi Services at Mumbai-Airports
MTNL has been awarded the licence by Airports Authority of India, to start Wi-Fi Services at Mumbai's Domestic and International Airports.MTNL is installing a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi network at the airports with a very high emphasis on security. This will add value to Mumbai Airports, whereby passengers waiting at transit, departure and security lounges will be able to access internet through their Laptop/PDA through MTNL Wi-Fi Network.Passengers can choose from a variety of plans and billing options like subscription, cash, SMS Top-up and Credit/Debit Cards. This is a step by MTNL towards creating wireless world. MTNL will also be providing Wi-Fi services at other hot-spot locations in Mumbai including educational institutions,hotels,cafeterias, and to large Corporate etc.

MTNL & BSNL have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a period of five years with Life Insurance Of India (LIC) on 27th October,2004 at Mumbai, where by MTNL & BSNL will be the most preferred service provider for LIC and will give LIC a preferred client status.The MoU was signed by Shri.R.S.P.Sinha, CMD, MTNL Mumbai, on behalf of MTNL.

MTNL & BSNL have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for five years with Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) on 25th October,2004 at Mumbai, where by MTNL & BSNL will be the most preferred service provider for RBI and will give RBI a preferred client status.The MoU was signed by Shri. R.L.Dube, Executive Director, MTNL Mumbai, on behalf of MTNL.

MTNL & BSNL have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) & Union Bank Of India on 31st August 2004 at Mumbai. Where By MTNL & BSNL will be the most preferred service provider for BPCL & UBI & they will give BPCL & UBI a preferred client status.The MoU was signed by Shri. R.L.Dube, Executive Director, MTNL Mumbai, on behalf of MTNL.
MTNL, BSNL sign MoU with PNB.
BSNL along with MTNL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Punjab National Bank on 13.7.2004 to develop a special relationship by providing all types of telecommunication services across the country. The purpose of MOU is to provide a gamut of all telecom services including basic, mobile, broadband, Internet services, leased line etc. PNB is providing Cash Management Services to BSNL in Northern Telecom Circle viz. Haryana, Punjab, U.P. (West), H.P., J&K etc. Presently, BSNL has provided more than 600 leased lines across India to PNB for it's central banking solution. BSNL is ready to provide leased lines through its state of the art MPLS-VPN network between various sites of PNB in second phase of its network expansion.
