TELEPHONE ACCESSORIES

In view of liberalised policy of the Department of Telecommunication and consequent Licensing the indigenous manufacturers to produce various types of telephone instruments catering variety of needs of customers and these being freely available in the market . MTNL permits use of such instrument approved by Telecommunication Engineering Centres (T.E.C) Department of Telecommunication (D.O.T)

List of such approved accessories /attachments are available with all Customer Service Centres of Area Head Quarters and QCSCs of all Telephone Exchanges. Permission to use these accessories /attachment are granted on written application and payment of prescribed licence fee/testing fee etc. as applicable Application may be given to the respective Quick Customer Service Centre of the Exchange.

ADDITIONAL FACILITY

(One time charge if any with a warranty of 3 years)

Annual charges

i) Extra bell Rs. 150/- p.a.

ii) Extension bell Rs. 200/- p.a.

iii) A plug & two sockets Rs.300/- p.a.

for each additional socket Rs.-100/- p.a.

iv) for long cord:

a) up to 5 meters Rs. 75/- p.a.

b) for every additional 5 meters Rs. 30/- p.a.

v) a complete telephone set Rs. 150/-p.a.

vi) Coin collecting box. Rs. 150/- p.a.

vii) Loudspeaking telephone: Rs. 800/-p.a.

viii) Ampliphone Rs. 80/- p.a. (or Rs. 10/- per month)

ix) Plan -101 Internal Extn. (without intercom) Rs. 400/- p.a.

x) Plan - 103 Internal Extn (without intercom) Rs. 500/- p.a.

CORDLESS TELEPHONE

Can be used under intimation to MTNL. Range not to exceed 100 meters . specified frequency and power output prescribed by DOT. Only models approved by DOT are permitted No licence fee.
Application to be given to the respective Quick Customer Service Centres of the Exchanges.
