ELIGIBILITY FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES

TATKAL Open to all, subject to technical feasibility. OYT- GENERALOpen to all, (The amount of registration fee is adjusted in 20 years by charging rental of Rs. 120/- less in Bi-monthly rental) OYT- SPECIAL Following are eligible for registration under this category. Registration fee is adjusted as in OYT General. a) Govt. Department / Undertakings. b) Senior Retired Officers of Public sector, Undertakings, Statutory bodies. c) Foreign Exchange Earners. d) LPG distributors, Cinema halls, Private Hotels , Recognized Schools & Colleges. NON-OYT-GENERAL Open to all. NON -OYT-SPECIAL Following are eligible for registration under this category. a) Medical Profession b) Press c) Public Institutions d) Small scale Industries e) Eminent persons of National or International recognition. f) Govt. School & College. h) Blind persons (50% of the normal rental) i) Paying guests establishment j) Advocates k) Retired /Renting officers/staff of all the Courts l) Judical Officers of all the courts i.e. Supreme Court/ High Courts/ District and subordinate Courts/ Tribunals etc. m) Gallantry Award winners in the three Services / War widows/ Disabled Soldiers. n) Senior Citizens of the age 65 years and above. NON -OYT-SS (Selected subscriber) Following are eligible for registration under this category. 1.Foreign missions, Embassies, UN Organisations 2.MPs MLAs, Municipal Councillors 3.Distinguished persons 4.Senior retired officers of Central and State Govt. 5.Director General of Govt. Research Council, Directors of National Laboratories. Vice Chancellors of University on retirement 6.Members of Zilla Parishad , Zilla Panchayats, District Panchayats and District Councills 7.Presidents, Vice President, Chairman of the Standing Committes of Districts, Block and Gram- Panchayat. NON-OYT-SWS Non-OYT -Swantantrata Senani (NON-OYT-SWS) Freedom Fighters & widows of Freedom Fighters are eligible for one telephone at a place here he/she is normally available. No registration and no installation charges and only 50% of rental is charged.

REBATES

50% rental rebate to Swatantrata Senani, Gallantry Award Winners, War widow and Disabled Soldiers and Blind Persons. 25% rental rebate to (for not exceeding two connections) a) Schools, Universities & Colleges affiliated there to, Polytechnics and other like institutions or organisations recognised by the government, non commercial research organisations. b) Not exceeding two telephones(Non residential) in institutions like home for the aged, infirm, spastics, institutions for handicapped deaf, dumb, mute persons, orphanages and voluntary organisations for tribal welfare and other like institutions or other educational organisations by the Government

TEMPORARY CONNECTIONS

Temporary Telephone connections are for telephone use only. These are sanctioned initially for 3 months and extendable upto 6 months by General Managers of respective area. Rent Double the normal rental. No free calls & call charges are at normal rate.

CASUAL CONNECTIONS

Casual Telephone connection are meant for shortest period such as 10 days and 30 days. Application to be made on plain paper to SDE (QCS) of respective exchange.

1-10 days	Half the bi- monthly rental.
11-20 days	Full bi- monthly rental
21-30 days	1.5 times bi- monthly rental
No free calls & call charges are at normal rate.

Local/STD/ISD facility to MTNL/BSNL/DOT working/retired employees

MTNL providing Local/STD/ISD facility on charge basis at the residence of MTNL/BSNL/DOT working/retired employees as per the guidelines given below

• Additional telephone line for this purpose will be provided which shall be rent free,also registration cum installation charge is waived.No free calls are provided.Calls will be charged at the rate of Rs. 1.20 per unit.
• Security deposit is payable for this connection for availing Loocal/STD/ISD facility as per prevailing commercial poloicy of MTNL Mumbai.
• The above (1) & (2) will also be applicable where ADSL connection to BSNL/DOT employees has already been provided on payment basis by providing a rent-free & incoming only telephone connection.
