Indoor Video Conferencing Studio

For the use of General Public, MTNL has set up a Video Conferencing Studio, on the ground floor of Fountain-1 Telecom Building. With the help of this Studio, Customers can see their friends & relatives on monitor who are at long distance and speak to them as if they are very near.But other end should be connected to the Video Conferncing equipment thro ISDN lines. At the same time Customers can speak to the three parties at three different places anywhere in the world. Customers can make use of this Studio for making local, STD and ISD calls at a very very nominal charge. This studio can also be used for receiving Incoming calls by paying only studio charge. The tariff of Video Conferencing Studio and call charges is given below.

Tariff

(A)	Charges for utilisation of VC equipment & Studio :
(i)	For first half an hour or part :	Rs. 500/-
(ii)	For subsequent every five minutes :	Rs. 80/-
(B)	*Call Charges (for each 128 Kbps) :
1.	Local (Mumbai and adjoining area) :	Rs. 2.40 per 3 minutes
2.	National :	Rs. 50 per 5 minutes
3.	International :
(i)	Asia, Europe, Africa & America :	Rs.240 per 5 minutes
(ii)	SAARC & other neighbouring Countries :	Rs.210 per 5 minutes
*Initial period of call charges will be 15 minutes minimum

Tariff for Outdoor Video Conferencing

The tariff for video Conferencing equipment within the jurisdiction of MTNL PSTN boundary for 24 hours is as under:
1.	Video Phone	Rs. 1500/-
2.	Video Conferencing Equipment (one system)	Rs. 6000/-
3.	Projector & screen	Rs. 2000/-
4.	Speakers	Rs. 1000/-

Cancellation Charges

1.	Before 96 hrs of schedule	None
2.	Between 48-96 hrs of schedule	25%
3.	Before 24-48 hrs of schedule	33.3%
4.	Less than 24 hrs of schedule	100%

Conditions

1.	100% payment at the time of booking, by cash or Demand Draft in favour of MTNL Mumbai.
2.	The booking will be on first come-first serve basis.
3.	In case of video conferencing between Delhi and Mumbai (studio or on-site), the call charges will be levied once from the originating end.
4.	For multiple points per site video conferencing upto maximum of 3 additional sites, communication charges will be charged for each multi point.
5.	Casual connection charges extra as per tariff in force for on-site video conferencing.

Note :

1.	Service Tax will be charged extra at the rate applicable from time to time.
2.	The ISDN lines will have to be arranged by the subscriber. MTNL may also provide the same by charging the casual connection tariff.
