Procedure for registering not to receive unsolicited calls

      However, if you wish to stop receiving such communications from MTNL Mumbai aswell as from Telemarketers, please follow the procedure given below.

1.Landline Customer : i) One has to dial 1909 or 1500 for registering one's request through landline and the call center staff will verify the correctness of his request & telephone number and give the docket number to the customer. OR
ii) Even one can register one's request online.Click Here

2.CDMA Customer : i) One has to dial 1909 or 1502 for registering one's request through garuda telephone number and the call center stafff will verify & give the docket number to the customer. OR

ii)For SMS Message:
For registration start(space)dnd send it to 1909
For cancellation stop(space)dnd send it to 1909

iii) Even one can register one's request online.Click Here

3.GSM Customer : i) One has to dial 1909 or 1503 for registering one's request through dolphin number and the call center stafff will verify & give the docket number to the customer. OR

ii)For SMS Message:
For registration start(space)dnd send it to 1909
For cancellation stop(space)dnd send it to 1909

iii) Even one can register one's request online.Click Here

      For all the above 3 cases, Customer can also register his request in writing to AGM(OP-PG&I), O/o GM(OP),10th floor, Telephone House, Prabhadevi,Dadar(W) Mumbai-400 028.

Procedure for Withdrawal of request :

      Landline, CDMA & GSM customer can cancel his request for unsolicited commercial communication after expiry of 3 months of registering his request, the procedure of cancellation is same for registering his request, which is explained above.

Procedure for Booking a Complaint :

      7 days after the registration , a DND customer can book a complaint on receipt of Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC) within 3 days. The complaint has to be registered from the same Telephone Number on which UCC has been received. Details like particulars of Telemarketer, Telephone Number from which the UCC has originated, date, time and brief description of such UCC are required for registering the complaint on 1909.
