 VoIP SERVICES

MTNL is providing VoIP Services to the Broadband Customers in association with the following.

1. M/s. ITI Limited.
2. M/S Aksh Optifibre Limited.

 Booking of VoIP connection :
The booking of new VoIP connection will be done at 1500 and Customer Centers in the Area and through website. The service will initially be on Prepaid basis only

 TARIFF FOR VoIP SERVICE :

4. Charges beyond free calls. Plan A -10 paise per minute
Plan-B-20 paise per minute
Plan C(SPYK)-20 paise per minute 		20 paise per minutes
B. CALL CHARGES
  International Call Charges (from VOIP to PSTN / Mobile phone) PAID 1. Codewise Call Charges.

2. Countrywise Call charges. 		1. Calls can be made through non refundable prepaid cards.
2. Please note that call charges for mobile may be different than landline for some country.

C. FIXED CHARGES FOR ATA/ SIP DEVICE QUARTERLY RENTAL SCHEME LIFETIME RENTAL SCHEME
REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT QUARTERLY RENTAL
  Model A (Single Port)
Refundable Security Deposit 		Rs. 1000/- Rs. 243/- (inclusive of service tax) Rs. 1460/- (inclusive of service tax)
  Model B (Two Port)
Refundable Security Deposit 		Rs. 1500/- Rs. 362/- (inclusive of service tax) Rs. 2161/-(inclusive of service tax)
  In Lifetime Rental Scheme, subscriber can return ATA at any time.The subscriber will be charged Rs. 243 &Rs. 362 per quarter respectively from the date of activation of ATA and balance amount will be returned provided the ATA is in good working condition.
D. TELEPHONE/WIRING CHARGES(For both M/s. Aksh & M/s. ITI)
  Telephone Charges:Customer can choose from following instruments
1.BEETEL Secure Rs.370/-
2.BEETEL-Emerald Rs. 400/-
3.BPL Model No.6390 Rs.350/-
Wiring required at the subscriber premises(beyond standard length of 2 meter) will be charged as per actual.

Multiple VoIP on Single Broadband line(w.e.f.01.03.08)
  • Upto 100 VoIP connections be allowed to be given on a single Broadband line.
  • In case of multiple VoIP the customer can opt for any combination of VoIP plans for the number of connections ordered. The existing installation charges+rental+ATA rental as per the existing VoIP tariff per VoIP connection will be chargeed in addition to the charges for broadband internet plan opted by the subscriber.No discount for the same is proposed.
  • If the customer wants to use the broadbanmd connection in above case only for VoIP he may opt for a broadband plan with (Zero charges for internet service+Rs. 80/- for modem charge )+(Inmstallation/charges/ATA charges as per the VoIP plan)opted.Internet will not be provided in this case.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
  • Fixed service charge at S.No. 'A' will be charged in Mtnl Landline Bill after the services put through.
  • For International call charges at S.No. 'B', customer has to use MTNL prepaid vouchers which can be obtained from MTNL customer centres
  • Charges at S.No.C & Quarterly rental will be collected by M/s Aksh Opticfibre.
  • Charges at S.No. 'D' for Telephone instrument/extra wiring beyond 2 meters will be charged upfront by M/s Aksh Opticfibre at the time of installation .
