MTNL's GARUDA Service is based on CDMA Technology. It offers the convenience of Mobile phone at a very affordable rate. There are two types of terminals available.
- Hand held terminal (Mobile handset)
- Fixed Wireless Terminal (FWT) / Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP)
For accessing Internet through Garuda Mobile and FWT, the following MAKE handsets / Terminals are available and the configuration setup for accessing the Internet for both given on the table below :

Configuration Set Up For accessing Internet for Garuda FWP / Mobile & Trouble shootings for Pantech type FWP Configure Internet for HISENSE MAKE Garuda Mobile Configure Internet for PHANTOM MAKE Garuda Mobile Configure Internet for HUAWEI MAKE Garuda FWP Configure Internet for PANTECH MAKE Garuda FWP (PDF) Configure Internet for PANTECH MAKE Garuda FWP Trouble Shootings while accessing Internet for PANTECH MAKE FWP In case of Mobile handset, customer carries a small handset of CDMA technology, which can be supplied by MTNL or procured by the customer himself. In case of FWT, a small box is fitted with the antenna at the subscriber premises and a normal telephone instrument is connected to the box. FWP is a composite device where single telephone instrument is provided to the customer. There is no wire connection.
